hello,
i am treating a 13 year girl, having vincristine induced neuropathy in lower limbs.
The clinical symptoms are Paraparesis with incontinence.

Muscle Power grading:
Gluteus Medius- 3
Quadriceps-2
B/L foot drop

Current Treatment:

Strengthening exercises for Quadriceps, Gluteus, Electrical stimulation for plantar flexors,
Gait training.

Is there any other methods to improve gait?

Dear Jaba,

I have experienced the vincristine parasthesia personally when going through chemo 16 yrs ago.
I was unable to change the condition until the chemo was ended, and then it took a couple of months to recover.
I hope that your client is doing well?

I have not seen this condition myself, but am questioning why you are stimulating the plantar flexors instead of the dorsi flexors? I would think a heel switch for the activation of anterior tib would be most appropriate for gait.
